About Me: Born to a Pure-Blooded family in the North of England, I spent much of childhood playing on the streets with the other Muggles in the area. Once I finished my time at Hogwarts, I spent a few years travelling throughout the Muggle World and studying before returning back home to England to take over the family store. The store, situated in Knockturn Alley, has been in my family for generations and it was what I did for ten years. Then one day, out of the blue, Amyl Ous the then Headmistress of Hogwarts offered me a job as Muggle Studies Professor and Head of Ravenclaw. I took this job despite the fact that I hate children and have since gone on to become Headmaster of the school.
Most people know me for my temper, my love of drinking brandy and my love of money and power.

About Me: I was born in
Ireland but soon moved with my family to live in London. At the age of 11, like
any other young wizard, I received an owl of my acceptance into Hogwarts School
of Witchcraft and Wizardry. During my school career, I excelled in Ancient
Runes, Potion Making, and Defense Against the Dark Arts - achieving an O on all
three NEWTS. After Leaving Hogwarts, I travelled around the world before
returning back to the United Kingdom. When I found out about the opening for the
position of Ancient Runes professor, I applied for the job. Luckily I got the
professorship position and returned to my beloved castle. Over my years as a
professor, I was offered the position of Head of Slytherin, and later, Deputy
Headmaster. These changes also occurred as the Hogwarts administration changed a
few professors around and I landed with potions professor.

About Me: I came here as a student and adored my time as a student as well,
when I entered the sorting ceremony I knew there was only really one house for
me! Ravenclaw, the best house(At least to me) with Slytherin as my alternate
choice. From there I pretty much threw myself into the Hogwarts experience,
bouncing around looking for mischief like the good student I was. That pretty
much carried on through my time as a student and didn’t leave me even after I
became a professor! I’m more commonly known at the “nutty” one of the group as
I’m always managing to find myself up to something that isn’t exactly logical.

About Me: Raised by my grandfather after my parents died, I convinced him to
send me to Durmstrang instead of Hogwarts. So it was natural that I would stay
in Bulgaria when the news of my grandfather's death reached me. It was then that
I vowed never to step foot in my native land of the UK, yet things did not work
out that way.
After my fiancee was murdered before my eyes and rumors spreading about me, I
decided to get away from all the suspicion and go back to the UK. It was not
long after my arrival that Amyl, the Headmistress of the time, offered me the
position of Transfiguration. It is at this place that I met Silvanus Bevan, my
new fiancee, and fell head over heels in love with him. Now I am living a dream
life but it is not without its problems

About Me: I was born in Northern England, grew up with a mother
who loved Herbology, and that's how I became so interested in it. Shortly after

Buchanan. We have a humongous house together in Italy and enjoy having unicorns
constantly. Currently, my position at Hogwarts has evolved into being chosen as

About Me: Before I entered the school I now call home, I lived
with my parents in a remote part of Ireland. My mother was a pure-blood witch,
my father a Muggle. My father didn’t hate the whole concept of witches and
wizards, but only asked that I continue in the Roman Catholic faith. He forced
his beliefs onto me, and the more I grew, the more I hated it. I soon began
practicing Wicca, where I developed an attraction for the divine.
My parents died a year later in a car accident. I was sent to live with my Uncle
Morpheus in Kent. I was distraught, and quickly cut myself off from the public,
choosing to delve into the world of literature. My uncle’s vast libraries only
fed this insatiable appetite for knowledge I had procured. What had been an
overall boring life so far automatically took a turn for the better when I
received a letter accepting me into Hogwarts. It took a while before I realized
that I was allowed an opinion, and a voice with which to state it. I made more
and more friends, learned everything I possibly could from my professors, and
before I knew it, I had graduated and was now teaching Divination. Nothing could
have made me happier.

About Me: I was born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, but I moved
to England with my parents at the age of nine. My father became the manager of
the Appleby Arrows, and trained me to become an excellent Quidditch player. My
mother was a British Muggle-Born and she worked for the Department of Mysteries.
I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and found my calling as keeper of the Quidditch
team. I planned to become an Auror, but I did not have good enough grades. So,
after graduation, I spent two years with the French Ministry, working in their
Department of Magical Law Enforcement. I returned to England after the
unfortunate death of William Colt, and my former Head of House Silvanus Bevan
asked me to teach my favourite subject.

About Me:I heard somewhere once that people who have problems in boxes are people who can't fit in them. Ever since I can remember, I've been one of those people. Even still as a child, I constantly annoyed my parents by discovering new ways to make my life interesting. I played with reality in my own mind, deforming it into what suits me best; you say "egoistic" and I agree, but I add "intriguing".
This situation would have probably stayed at least manageable if all continued the way it did. But as always, something went horribly wrong; in this case, it was my relationship with my parents. It is because of that deterioration that I now live in a small house in Toulouse, France instead of England; I took my little brother (now three) to live with me the moment I managed to run away. My parents don't mind... Not that I would care if they did. I'm happy, he's happy, it works.
Now all that's left is for me to try and live along with hundreds of students....

About Me:
It's kind of hard to describe myself and my life in such a little amount of space, but I'll give it a go. I was born in America and raised by my muggle father up until I was seven years old. My mother had disappeared when I was young, so my relationship with her was never very strong. My father, after complications with business, soon gave me up for adoption. I was first adopted by my Aunt and Uncle, and then later, after enrolling into Hogwarts, I was adopted by a staff member. My relationship with Amyl Ous was more a friendship then anything. She raised me until I came of age, then we went our separate ways. I have been the prefect of Slytherin for two terms, and then Head Girl for three. I became a professor because it is a very rewarding career that I wish to share with the student body here at Hogwarts.

About Me: I was born in Yichang, South-Central China, before moving to Ireland with my Irish father and three older brothers when I was one. My father worked for the Ministry, and his work caused him to travel around the world frequently, which is how he met my mother, on a business trip in China. When my mother left without a word, my father gave up his job and moved our family back to his home country, where we have lived since. When I left Hogwarts at 17, I went back to the country of my birth for six months, before coming back to the UK, promptly applying for the position of Ancient Runes Professor when I heard it was open.

About Me: I was born in Eastern Europe, Romania and lived there for the better part of my childhood, attending The Durmstrang Institute. When I was 14 years of age, my family was forced to relocate due to some of my father's "suspicious and less than legal" magical activities. Even though his involvement with the Dark Arts was never been officially proven, my parents thought it best to move to England. I continued my studies at Hogwarts and after my graduation, I accepted the post of Astronomy Professor.
My faulty upbringing has left a powerful mark on my personality, making me snobbish, vengeful, power hungry, arrogant and vain. I don't have many friends, but I am fiercely loyal to the ones I do.

Lumos Alliance's past is not a simple one. Lumos Alliance has a very intricate and detailed past, parts of which have been lost forever. If memory can serve, Lumos Alliance began in the clever head of Alex de Sousa. Alex created what many of us remember as Hogwarts Light; Hogwarts Light was an RPG with a turbulent history, going from server to server and undergoing frequent crashes due to unreliable hosting. Finally, however, Alex found the (now deceased) Muggle Pride Zone, whom were looking for an exciting RPG to sponsor and offer their visitors.
Muggle Pride Zone provided Hogwarts Light with stable hosting, and a friendly rush of users (many of which can still be found on Lumos Alliance). The site functioned well, and popularity blossomed. However, late in the life of Muggle Pride Zone, the two people at the helm of Hogwarts Light (Alex and Matt) had a power struggle, both wishing for Hogwarts Light to go in different directions. Matt left the site, as well as leaving his position as co-webmaster at Muggle Pride Zone to begin his own RPG website.
Matt took most of the staff and users with him to build his own website, which he and his staff did. They built what they agreed upon as the Lumos Alliance, a wide functioning, and user-friendly RPG. The website has matured, and grown into what you see today.
